Smart Commute Hamilton is an association led by the City of Hamilton which works with local businesses and community organizations to provide programs and initiatives that encourage the use of active and sustainable transportation. In partnership with Metrolinx and other GTA communities, Smart Commute has a larger mandate to take action on congestion and climate change in the GTHA through transportation efficiency, policy development and infrastructure renewal. |

Clean Air Commute WeekJune 14-18, 2010During the week of June 14-18, The City of Hamilton will be participating in Pollution Probe’s Clean Air Commute. Employees are encouraged to commute to work in a cleaner way by; biking, walking, telecommuting, taking public transit, driving a hybrid, carpooling or even just giving your car a tune-up.
Participants will be asked to fill out a diary card on-line and record their commuting patterns for the week here: www.cleanaircommute.ca
